Direct electricity trading is the trading of electricity between a renewable energy generating unit and a large electricity user that is not carried out through the traditional form of electricity trading that was previously applied, which is signing a contract to buy electricity from EVN or from EVN's affiliated units. Accordingly, there are 2 forms of direct electricity trading: direct electricity trading via a private connection line and direct electricity trading via the National Grid.
